Hey! Guess what!? My next picture book, Love, Z, comes out one month from today and I’m super excited!

I mean, I’m always excited to share my books with the world, but the experience of creating Love, Z was different from how it’s been with my other books. It was more of a journey, which seems fitting. No book I’ve worked on has changed more from inception to final execution than this one, and while I’m really proud of what ended up on the page, it took alot to get there. How much this story changed might be best demonstrated by the fact that the original title was Robots Cannot Love.

I guess you could say it was a labor of love.
